POWDER ROOM MAKEOVER

Finally revealing our powder room makeover! This powder room is off of our entry, so it will be the primary bathroom for guests to use. So it definitely needed some TLC. This space is really small, so I focused on making it feel bigger by adding striped wallpaper, which I was so excited to partner with Milton & King for (more on that below!). We are still planning on updating the vanity and faucet (and I’m thinking about spray painting the new light fixture black! eek!), but for now, it’s functional and it’ll do. So some wallpaper, paint, and a new light fixture and mirror later…. we turned this dated, traditional space into a bright and airy powder room! BEFORE & AFTER

Here you can see what the space looked like while I was deciding on which wallpaper I wanted to go with. The space was very dreary and traditional, and in need of some updating. So, I installed this Natural Ticking Stripe wallpaper from Milton & King, which was very easy to work with and had minimal waste. Milton & King has SO many amazing wall coverings to choose from, it was almost impossible to decide! But I’m happy I went with my gut instinct on this one with the natural stripe – I think it completely elevated this small space in such an elegant and classic way!

Then, Justin installed this new light fixture and really cool leather trim mirror for me. I’m still debating on whether or not I should spray paint the light fixture black to tie in with the artwork on the back wall. Once we update the vanity and faucet, I’ll be able to decide I think!

These changes made such a big impact in this space and I can’t wait to get working on our other guest bathroom!
